Warning: non-healthy food idea!
This is officially the least healthy item to come out of my kitchen in over two years.
Homemade fudge cake with an ENTIRE JAR of Nutella blended into the batter. A full bag of Brookside dark chocolate pomegranate bites mixed in, as well, for good luck.
Topped with homemade fudge icing, sprinkles, caramel corn, melted milk chocolate, and caramel.
This is diabetes waiting to happen, people.
And the best part? It’s a gift for someone else! Muahahahahahhahahahahahahaha.
My new strategy: fatten everyone up so I look skinnier by comparison.
Yesssssss. It’s diabolical, but it just may work.
On that note… bon appetit, my friends!

Cool idea! Did you work out how many calories for the whole dish & per serving?
But the main question: how does it taste?
It would take me a while to calculate the calories, but the jar of Nutella alone was 1,100! A cup of oil (yipes), six eggs, flour, cocoa, chocolates – my guess is that the cake is easily 20,000 calories in total. The icing is pure fudge!
I will find out how it tastes once my friends in the office dig into it! I’m not trying it. 😉
Ha ha, that’s vey clever!
Can’t believe how many calories there is in this dish!
For how many people is it for?
The final product is roughly 3.5 kgs (it’s a BIG cake), so I think it can safely serve about 20 people. Each person can have a very generous serving!
Did they enjoy it?
Extremely! My boss was raving about it in the office this morning. Mission: accomplished.
Well done!
